Privacy Policy: Boston Heat Pump & HVAC Installer Directory

Run by FawxBytes, Boston, MA. Last updated: October 27, 2026. Questions: fawxbytesteam@outlook.com.

What we collect

• Installers who claim or add a listing: business name, contact name, business phone, business email, website, towns you cover, MA license number, review-page link, and (Featured only) logo and blurb.
• Homeowners: we don't ask for an account. If you use a "Request a quote" button, you go to the installer's own site or form, and their privacy policy applies there.
• Basic site data: our host may log standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and to stop abuse.

Where listing info comes from

The public Mass Save installer list, plus details businesses add when they claim their listing. We don't copy Google or Yelp reviews.

How we use it

To show business listings, verify that a claim really comes from the business, contact installers about their listing, and process Featured payments. We don't sell personal information.

Payments

Featured payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Who we share with

Only the services that run the site and payments (our web host and Stripe), or when the law requires it.

Your choices

Installers can ask us to correct, update, or remove their listing at any time by emailing fawxbytesteam@outlook.com. We'll act within 10 business days. Public business info may still appear on the Mass Save list and other public sources we don't control.

Security

The accounts that run this site (hosting, domain and payments) use two-factor login, and access is limited to our team. If a breach ever affects Massachusetts residents' personal information, we'll notify them and the state as Massachusetts law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
